Original Feedback for East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust:

I don't blame the ambulance service

Last year I fell down the stairs in the middle of the night. I realised I had fractured my arm (I had previously fractured it). I called 999 and they asked if I had blacked out. I said that I hadn't but I did live alone. They said that they were very busy and would get to me as soon as they could. 4 hours later they contacted me to say sorry and that they were changing shifts and someone would be with me soon. Ambulance arrived shortly after this. I don't blame the ambulance service though, I think the blame lies with the hospital who are really busy and ambulances are queued up. When they came, they were excellent.
