  There were several suggestions I had never considered, for example key box registered with emergency services. Karen also asked about me, I hadn’t thought about this before. Karen was empathetic and understood the issues we are facing.

  I was referred to West Norfolk Carers as I am based in Kings Lynn (Mum is based in Dereham). However, after only one call they were closed down and I was referred to Carers Matter Norfolk. I needed some advice about Mum's carers as I had not heard from them regarding my Mum's assessment and to talk through options for onward care needs. Courtney was very understanding and helpful and I feel that I have support to make decisions knowing I have someone to clarify things with or ensure that I am making the best decisions in the circumstances.

  Tom was very easy to talk to, I felt comfortable speaking with him. Tom offered so much support for myself which I didn’t think was available including organisations and funding.

  I am facing some challenges whilst caring for my mum. In particular some differences in opinion from another member of the family. This adds extra pressure to an already difficult situation. Karen was able to sign post the best services to support decision making and give me the confidence to continue to ensure mum is getting everything she needs. I was also appreciative of the opportunity to discuss my own needs and it was useful to reflect on my own well being. Thank you Karen you were brilliant. I would not hesitate to recommend your service. In fact I have already done so.
