Absolutely shocking

I phoned up in a crisis after being told the previous day that a family member had passed away. I spoke to someone and I explained that I had really bad voices in which they were telling me to attempt suicide and hurt myself. In which she responded “Cole how you usually would” the way I cope is self harm, she said I was unable to get any help as it was “too soon” she said I had to sit with my feelings and stop taking my medication, I told her that I didn’t think it was right what she said and she kept referring back to “cope how you usually would” she kept calling me “mate” and said she knows what I feel. This was very unhelpful as I was left with suicidal thoughts and I had a way I would do it, I explained this to her but she was so unhelpful.
