It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

As a service provider, you can leave your response to the original review and the reviewer will be notified of this. However, they will not be able to reply to your response, but can get in contact with Healthwatch Norfolk if they wish to pass any comments along. Very poor treatment

My son was a patient at the hospital. His care was very disjointed and confusing for him and us. We asked questions and it became clear that his care and treatment were not being properly documented by all staff and so there was a great deal of confusion around future plans for care and medication. We feel he was discharged too quickly from the hospital without and adequate care plan in place. There was no support from the community team and without some intense family support I am certain that my son would no longer be alive. He was discharged with a small amount of medication and because there was no continuity or communication there was a lapse of over a week before he was able to get more medication prescribed. The lack of support and care from the mental health service and the hospital put an enormous amount of pressure on myself and our family. He is now improving but I fear any relapse with his mental health as I have no confidence in the service following his experience.
