The nursing staff are brilliant

I was admitted via A&E and then AMU. The nursing staff are brilliant and very attentive to patients needs. There seems to be a lack of communication and information from doctors which left me very worried and my wife frightened. I felt fine in myself and had been told I had a clot a and then a nurse came and told me not to leave my bed. There was no context behind this initial message and we were both left very worried. When asked the nurse said she didn't know anymore. It would have been helpful to have had a better explanation. Eventually a consultant was able to explain to us the reasoning and put our minds at ease. Also I was on an ECG but no one seemed to take any notice of it and when the leads came off no one came to check or see. It made me wonder what the value of it was. I felt the poor information just left me worrying.
