Emailed through nhs Webb site. Asking for help. With what turned out to be Kampala bactor. This was 11am approx. Got told places taken around 5pm.told to call 111 or 999. This cost me 4 nights in a isolatation needing at least 4 ltrs of fluid. This was a serious sickness and I deserved better help. Even a phone call. If this is a gp service no wonder the hospital is so full

Attleborough Surgeries (Queens Square Surgery)
Thank you for your review and we are sorry to learn of your concerns when accessing our service. The Practice operates a system where all routine and urgent requests received at the Practice whether on-line, by telephone or face to face, are reviewed by a senior clinician. This does however take time, with often over 250 requests being received on each day of opening. We are sorry to learn of the delay in advising you of the action that was needed to safely manage your health, but would also wish to confirm that we are not an emergency service and the condition you have reported could not have been safely or appropriately managed within primary care. Thank you once again for your feedback.
I had a pain and I wasn't sure about it. The nurse referred me straight to NNUH. I was very happy with the nurse and how quickly it was dealt with.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience and feedback, which is greatly appreciated.
I'm a new patient and I would have expected more courtesy and consideration in face-to-face interactions with the receptionists. I've also not had a new patient check.

We are sorry to learn that the welcome you received at our Practice was not as you had expected. We are grateful for your feedback, which will be shared with the team. We understand how important it is for patients to feel welcomed and listened to when speaking to any of our staff, clinical and non-clinical. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
... hen I really have to. When you don't rely on them or use them a lot they should understand that you really do need them when you call. Especially when they know my history with my heart and not being able to breathe.
... same doctor. She looked at it and said "you've got cancer" in a shocked voice and told me I had to go to hospital. So by the time I got through to the hospital there'd been a five week delay and it was a very aggressive type of cancer. I completed treatment but I have another spot although I don't have confidence they will deal with it properly. I'm obviously very worried as the hospital told me I have to act quickly. I've contacted them and they didn't want to see me. I insisted that it needed to be looked at and I've been given a phone appointment.
... t. I asked about the weight loss injection and she said no as the team are inundated with requests. She has prescribed tablets to prevent fat absorption and I have to phone in ahead of each prescription to tell them how much I weigh. She's told me she'll stop the prescription if I'm not losing weight. I have lost 20% of my body weight now but she won't tell me what the target is to be referred for my hip. I have no confidence in this surgery at all. You get asked to do a survey about your experiences but if you're negative about them you don't get asked again.

Thank you for your review and comments. We are unable to comment on individual care arrangements on this platform, but thank you for sharing these details. Regarding our Friends and Family test, where patients are asked to rate their experience after attending an appointment at the Surgery, this survey is randomly generated, and usually includes approximately 600 patients per month. We would therefore like to reassure you that we do not exclude responders based on the rating or comments that they submit. The Practice welcomes all patient feedback, which we regularly reflect as part of our work to improve the services we are able to offer to our patients.
I have Diabetes and I mainly see the nurses for that, at Queen's Square. It's difficult to get appointments.
From the Diabetes side, I have a regular three monthly appointment so that's better, but it's quite difficult to see a GP. The care is pretty reasonable.
It's efficient. I think they're just very short staffed.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our services, which is always appreciated.
I had symptoms of cervical cancer for months and was only put in for an ultrasound to find it after going back repeatedly. Also been at surgery for 6 years and never met my Dr.
Or can get an appointment with a Dr. Get pushed from one surgery to another and never updated as to why or where you will be.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we are unable to investigate or respond to personal health matters on a public platform. We do however take patient complaints and concerns seriously and, were appropriate, will always consider learning outcomes and changes we can make to improve our services and the patient experience. We would wish to encourage you to get in touch with us directly in order that we can review your concerns further; the best way to make contact with us is through our website at www. attleboroughsurgeries.com and submit an on-line form with your full details where we can contact you and the details of your complaint. We can then investigate your concerns in line with our complaints policy. For general information, we always like to reassure our patients that our GPs continue to provide many face to face appointments every day, and we manage our demand through a system of clinical triage and review. Our patients can also be offered a telephone or face to face appointments with a member of our extended clinical practitioner team, all who have access and support from a GP for help and advice, where this is needed.
... n my line of work I am very concerned about the implications this could have.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to read that you have had a prolonged period of ill health. All requests whether received via the telephone or via our on-line forms are reviewed by a clinician who determines the contact arrangements with a patient and will book a face to face appointment where they feel that this is required in order to best manage care and treatment. Clinicians will have full access to a patients previous history, clinical consultations, diagnostics and earlier treatments, which will be taken into consideration when deciding on next steps for health management. Unfortunately we are unable to comment on any individual care arrangements via this Healthwatch Feedback page.
... e her date of birth . So where do I go from here? I can't read the message that they have sent me.
Went into the Queens Rd Surgery, tried to talk to the receptionist about the problem and the surgery manager tried to explain what to do. So confusing and couldn't hear a thing of what she was telling me with the music blasting out.
Even the receptionist admitted that she could make no sense of what I was supposed to do. Mum can't have the app as she is 86 doesn't do tech.
I was told I could just bring the prescriptions in which isn't possible either as we are away a lot. all I want is to carry on with Mum's prescriptions being delivered on a regular basis.
I've put two stars for cleanliness as the screen on the receptionists desk was filthy .
Pharmacist was lovely as usual and staff did their best Help!!

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to learn of the problems you have experienced when managing the repeat ordering arrangements for your mum. The Practice has moved away from accepting individual emails for repeat ordering and in line with the NHS digital strategy, are promoting and supporting patients to use the NHS app. We have spent a number of months promoting this and providing educational resources to patients to help in this transition, before going live with the change. We understand that this may not suit everyone and we continue to be very happy to receive paper scripts either brought to the Practice by hand, or posted to us. Additionally, repeat ordering can also be easily managed for your mum through our website at www.attleboroughsurgeries. com using the Prescription tile on the front page. This is as quick and easy as the email system, but ensures that all requests are directly linked to the patients clinical record, reducing errors and increasing the efficiency in which the Practice is able to manage the many 1000's of repeat prescription requests we receive and are authorised by a GP each month.
