Poor
Waited with my 83 year old 25 minutes to see the pharmacist- the other staff (who were pleasant) said she was filling in a form and with be with us shortly. I checked 3 times and was told she was filling in a form and would be with us in a minute. We g gave up after 25 and went elsewhere.

Closed
Today at 4pm I went to pop in but it was closed despite apparently being open until 8pm. I hope it isn’t permanently shut down like the one at UEA

No staff or stock
Repeatedly having to go back multiple times to get prescriptions as they are most often out of stock of common medicines. Had been told to wait 5 days by one member of staff and then when I went back later in the day to ask them to see my doctors urgent email requesting they return the prescription request to the spine so it could be dispensed elsewhere it turned out they actually had all the medication there and were able to give it to me there and then.

I previously waited 9 weeks for them t
... o get the.same medicines in for me because the text message service to notify me of it arriving hadn't been used, meaning twice weekly visits to see if they had it.

Was also told that ringing ahead wouldn't work as they wouldn't be answering the phone. With the other local pharmacies closing down this one is now inundated and for the last 3 years has had barely any stock in, today I waited for half an hour in the queue to be told 5-10days for prescriptions to be dealt with.

They may be short staffed but there are some working there who are very rude and treat customers as an inconvenience to their day which doesn't help the situation.

Prescription not ready
My prescription should have been ready on Wednesday 26th July 2023. Pharmacy team said it would.

I went to collect on 27th July 2023 and it was not ready. I tried ringing on and off all day on 26th to double check ready and phone was left to ring or engaged.

This happens nearly ever time you ring this pharmacy. They need more staff to answer phone.

I am 87 years old and expect a better service as a long standing customer. It is heart medicines.

Not fit for purpose
Too many times my repeat prescriptions are not sorted in time. Normally as a long term customer I'll be given 7 days emergency supply.

Today's pharmacist decided to give me two days because she thinks I can just Pop down there every time they make a mistake. I often have to make unnecessary journeys to find out if my prescription has arrived because they let the phone ring.

Because I can't afford any more trips to the chemist this week I'll be going without my tablets for half a week. Time t
... o change chemists.

Prescription collection
I went to collect my husband's prescription on friday 151021 and it was not ready and told me to come in the evening which I could not make it on that day or on the 161021. When I went to collect on 171021, the Eaton Boots pharmacy was half opened with shutters on and when I asked the one of the uniform lady behind the shutters about the prescription her abrupt reply was " we are dispensing only antibiotics ".

I begged with her whether she could just dispense the antihypertensive medication as
... he had run out of it and I am happy to collect the rest of the medication the following day. Her very unhelpful reply was, we did put a board on friday saying " we have a limited service on 171021 which was not very visible any way even if she had put them up.

I understand there may be staff shortage ,sickness etc but the reply to the customer should be polite .Her mannerism, attitude ,un cooperativeness etc was very unprofessional and amazed me being a Health care professional myself and working in NHS for last 15 years.

Never get the repeat prescriptions sorted
Was told that repeat prescriptions aren't requested by the pharmacy - though the Boots website says: if you have signed up with your GP for online services, your prescription request will be sent direct to your GP when you complete your order. Your GP will then send us your prescription.

Never seem to do this in time so you get to the last tablet and then have to make multiple phone calls to sort out.
