Appalling
Very lovely but clearly overworked staff. I am often concerned for their wellbeing when I visit this branch in Hethersett.

NOTE: the ratings I have provided are directed specifically at Boots Board of Directors and their CEO, not their overworked lovely staff at this branch. Long queues (enough to give you a heart attack from stress on bad days), medication shortages, and clear evidence of supply issues and stock control issues at whatever hub Boots run centrally.

Are Boots Head Office back
... office functions fit for purpose? Does Boots Head office back office have enough staff? Shareholders probably don’t care if you look at last years post tax profits. Do we understand the impact all the supply issues have on our local GP’s? For example I ran out of my tablets 3 days ago, the GP in Hethersett issued a prescription electronically 21st Aug 2023 and today is 1st Sept and the staff at Boots Hethersett are unable to tell me when it is in stock.

I had a problem last month with the same medication where I had to wait for well over two weeks after I had run out of tablets.

I am not alone, you overhear (you cant help it after standing for what seems like a lifetime in a queue for your medication, only to find its not in stock when it should have been in stock and ready to collect) What about our elderly community having all this stress with their medication? What about the extra stress this may cause people with mental health issues? What about life threatening medication supply issues? Can we as a community be certain that people are not becoming seriously ill or dying in the Hethersett community due to this Pharmacies issues I wonder?

On the whole it's okay
I would say it's 45 on a good day, although I have known it to be closed when it should be open. On the whole it is okay. It is convenient as I can walk here.

always quick in dispensing
I think the staff can have good and bad days - they're so busy but mostly all fine. They are always quick in dispensing.

An improvement would be if they could get a pharmacist every day, it is often closed. They are very busy, it takes 10 days to dispense so people have to wait a long time and sometimes run out of their medicines.

Prepare for long delays
Yet again more than a 14 day wait after ordering repeat prescription and this is usual and has happened consistently for more than six months. Service is unacceptable as it leaves me without medication every month despite ordering as soon as the doctor’s surgery system allows.

Now changed to another pharmacy.
