Not enough staff
The staff are pleasant and I would give them 4.55 but they need more staff. The queues are too long.

Can't Knock The Staff
I can't knock the staff here, they're great. I used the lockers for the first time today and it went well. I was able to figure it out with a little help from the staff. Saved me queueing! I think they're all doing their best in there.

They do the best with what they have got
I champion Boots, I think they do the best with what they have got. I think they are short staffed and they are overwhelmed but usually I put a prescription in on a Monday and pick it up Thursday.

They can't work with what they have got though they need to recruit, how can they cope with the volume as Wymondham gets bigger?

at the moment they are really good
I have had problems getting my medicine in the past, but I had a chat with the manager and since then it has been sorted. I think there is a massive stigma with Mental Health and people don't always understand it.

I am trying to be sensible and responsible and all I need for this is my meds. They are now a 5 star here.

The manager is really good.

They try their best
I come here to collect my prescriptions. They are better than they were.

It just seems so painfully slow. You used to get a prescription in 1-2 days now it is a week or longer.

I know to order well in advance of when I need it now. During covid it was chaos, now they have reduced their hours so it takes even longer.

They try their best. I know when to come down now to avoid the queues I don't know if it is the process or the people.

Never Had A Problem
I've never had a problem with them. Sometimes they seem stretched.

My partner is a teacher and she often struggles to get here during their opening hours. I find it hard to keep track of their opening hours, it seems to change a lot.

Things have improved lately, used to be a 7 day wait for medications and now it's only 48 hours.

They DO Their Best
On the whole they do their best. I was surprised to see only a few people in there when I arrived. I usually get here early to avoid having to queue. Overall it's very good and the staff are helpful.

The Lockers Are Great
I've never had any problems here. I use the lockers and think that works great.

I get a text with a code when the prescription is ready and then I go in and open up the locker. I walk right past the queue! That only works for my repeat prescription, if it's an acute one I have to collect it the usual way and that's been fine.

The only thing I would improve is the communication. They don't tell me if a medication is out of stock, I go in because it's been over a week and I haven't had a text
... saying it's ready.

Then when I go in they tell me the medication is out of stock. It would be good if they could communicate with the surgery and tell them it's out of stock and get them to prescribe an alternative that is available.

Works Well For Me
I think they're good. I've never had a problem. Sometimes it can take a while to get my repeat prescriptions . They text me when they're ready and then I go to the lockers to pick them up. It works well for me.

Always polite and helpful
They are definitely better than they used to be, I am using the locker system now and they just message you when it is ready - they send the message so you know when to come down and collect. There is still some queueing if you need something from the desk but they are always so polite and helpful
