It's a nice place. The girls are nice, they're good.

I like to help out with odd jobs in the home. I also enjoy colouring, they get more books for me when I fill them up.

I enjoy all the activities, they do all sorts. I enjoy the boozy bingo! The food here is nice, you get good choice.

They'll get me my bread and jam if I don't fancy anything, which I love. My room is nice, they keep them lovely and clean.

They change my sheets everyday and do my clothes for me. It's like the ritz.

We ... go out on trips, they're all good. I like the other people that live here too.

It's very nice here. Everyone's nice and everything's working out okay.

They can't do enough for you. It's very comfortable and always warm enough.

You can get staff if you need. My room is ensuite and overlooks the garden.

We like to use the garden in the summer. I've been out to the Pavilion theatre a few times, and I've got a friend that lives locally and we'd go somewhere local like the pub.

The staff come around everyday with the food menu to see what I'd like, and you can have some ... thing else if there's nothing you fancy. Everyone is great if you need them, it doesn't matter what time day or night.

It's good. They take care of me really well.

The staff are brilliant, I can't fault any of them. When I'm sitting downstairs and watching people I never see anyone being ill treated, even people who are difficult are all treated kindly.

My room is nice and warm, but I do have a feeling that in the summer it's going to be quite hot. They have a lot of activities, I went down yesterday and played bowls, I like participating in the activities.

Claire the activities organiser is very enthusias ... tic. She'll take on board any suggestions.

We had a lovely afternoon with cheese and wine recently, there's always something going on. They bring fresh fruit in the morning, it's very thoughtful.

I've been here quite some time. I find it very good here.

I find everyone very obliging. The place is kept clean, I have my laundry done for me.

The carers are always pleasant, never abrupt. They are very nice people.

I like my room; it's nice and clean and bright. I like to watch my television.

I like Countryfile! I like my word puzzles. The food is okay; all the meals are.

I have Cornflakes in the morning. There is a good choice; meat and vegetables at lunch time.

There's a variati ... on. Some days I have to leave a little bit on the plate; the portions are good! Sometimes someone comes in to do some singing and I like to wander down and listen to them.

There is nothing to criticise here really.

I have been here about three years. It was April time that I came here.

I do like it here. I was unsure at first as I had never been somewhere like this.

I was at home but I had some falls and I wasn't safe at home. My family found Burgh House.

Now it's fine. The care that we receive is good.

The food is fine. There is a choice and we pick what we want.

I don't have to keep ringing my family to ask "will you do this, will you do that", it's all done for you here. I'll have a go at the ... activities and if I can do it, I'll do it.

There is no pressure to join in. I have my hair done regularly.

I like my room. I've been in the same room for the whole time.

The staff know if we're missing and they know where to find us! Everything is good and we know that if we have a query, we can go to the manager and everything will be sorted.

I've been here roughly three years. It's very good.

The bosses can be bosses when they need to be but they can also be your best friend as well. I don't need too much but they're always there if you need them .

I like my room. I go into the dining room sometimes.

I don't usually join in the activities but I enjoy watching the others have fun. If I can join in, I'll join in.

The food can be nice one day, not so nice the other day. If you go to the same restaurant every day it's never goin ... g to be good all the time, is it? Most things I can eat every day though.

I'm not too fussy an eater. I like to watch my television and I'm quite sociable.

I have a good friend here and we enjoy each other's company. I'm quite happy here.

I was in a room upstairs before and I didn't like it. I wasn't part of things.

I like to be where the company is. As soon as this room came up, I was given it and I moved downstairs.

I give it a five! I like it here.

It's brilliant living here. If I ask one of the carers for something, they bring it.

When I get up in the morning and I need help with a wash, they come and help me. One thing I would say; when you need to be taken somewhere you do sometimes have to wait a little while.

But don't get me wrong, they are brilliant. I wanted some new clothes, some thinner trousers, and one of the carers got some for me.

The care here is brilliant. No complaints at all! I ask for a cup of coffee, it might take ... a while to arrive but it will arrive! I have a full English breakfast on a Saturday; it's huge! I like that breakfast.

The food here is good.
