Mum was taking the wrong medication
My mum was given a water tablet - furosemide - instead of the heartburn medication she'd been prescribed. The label on the box had her name and the heartburn medicine name, but inside it was furosemide.

It was checked in the pharmacy and missed. My mum was taking it for some time before I noticed.

It's not the first time this has happened with them. We've told the GP and the pharmacy say they're looking into it.

I worry about other people because what if somebody else was given something b
... y mistake that was dangerous for them?

Enquiring about obtaining a prescription
The person was so kind and helpful and although I couldn’t get the prescription from them, they gave me 2 other contacts for pharmacies and I was able to get the required prescription…thank you so much for your help.

Top Rated
When I walk in they know who I am. They remember me every time. They are friendly from the top down. it usually only takes a couple of days for me to get my prescription. I rate it highly!

Personable service
This pharmacy has a more personable service than some others. They know my name and are always really good.

Really Good Service
I didn't really understand why my medicine had been changed and the pharmacist went through everything with me so I would take them properly.

Medicine mix up
I recently had a prescription for my medication and the pharmacy supplied a different strength tablet and changed the dose so I was taking the equivalent dose. I was not told and took the same amount of tablets as I would normally not realising the tablets were a different strength.

This ended up with me taking too much. I have also been given tablets with someone else's name on them.

I always double check my medication now.
