It's quiet here, not too rowdy but not too quiet, which is how I like it. I always liked my home and leaving it was a wrench, but I feel comfortable here.

The food is very good, I like it. They think about us all the time and I think we are uppermost in their thoughts and they like listening to what you have to say.

We do a lot inside, lots of people can't move so much. We go out more in the summer.

You can please yourself. It's more like home.

I'm quite happy here. I like sitting here b ... y the window.

I'm happy to be in a home where I'm comfortable.

I would give it 5 out of 5 or 6! It's fabulous, everything is. My mother came here 3 12 years ago as she felt she needed to be somewhere safe.

It was her choice. She has absolutely loved it "I feel safe" she said and that's what a daughter wants to hear.

It is a proper home from home and they treat her like a queen. She saw a cake in a magazine, gave it to the chef and they made it for her.

Mum asks "Why are they so nice to me, I don't like old ladies" They also have sherry each day if the ... y want it and mum has her own whiskey locked away to have sometimes. I live close by so I am able to take her out sometimes and I can visit most days.

If I go away I don't have any worries about her being looked after well. She says to me "I'm the luckiest granny in the world, aren't you clever to find this place".

Mum is much better since she has been here, she is much less anxious. When I wasn't too well and unable to visit, the home offered to bring me lunch, I said no because I was okay but it was so nice of them to offer.

I think this home is particularly special. The food is fabulous and my mother likes her food.

I think she has the best room in the house and it looks just like her sitting room at home, she has lots of her own furniture in it. When mum arrived here during COVID they took her stuff from home and set the room up for her before she arrived so it was familiar to her straight away and when I saw it for the first time it felt so familiar and just like mums sitting room at home.

Mum has a bath every day, it is all just wonderful. There is a fabulous garden and they have a hair salon in the garden too.

When mum has her hair done I sit in the garden and wait for her in a comfy chair. It's like a hotel.

Mum likes the garden she likes to sit and hide in different parts. The staff take an interest in the person and their back story before they even arrive here.

They have a joke with mum which she likes. There is a dementia bus that came for some staff training and I was asked if I wanted to do the training too.

I said yes and it was so good.

It's an excellent place, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, and that is the God's truth. I couldn't be looked after any better.

The staff are lovely and they look after you so well. I help with the lunch table, I'm not the sort of person who can do nothing I need to have something to do.

We have different games, I like the bowls and card games, the word games and best of all the colouring. I have my pictures on the wall in the dining room.

I've coloured since I was a little girl, my Mum ... used to buy me colouring books. the food is lovely, we are very lucky.

I like my little bedroom and everywhere is so clean. They are very clean, they care, they are always changing our beds.

I shall have a bath tonight and have my hair washed and fresh clothes. I like that.

We are so well looked after. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

My family are pleased I am here. They visited today and it was a lovely surprise because I didn't know they were coming.

The garden out there is lovely too.

I think it is good, in fact it's excellent. It's like a home, it's like your own home.

The care is lovely and they listen to what you like. If they say they will do something they do it.

Kindness goes a long way and I appreciate it. They take us out to places too.

I also have someone pick me up to take me to church on Sunday and another group during the week. Tomorrow I am going out with a friend and she will come and pick me up.

I do have lots of visitors. Sometimes when you ring the be ... ll it can take a bit of time for them to respond but there are other people living here who need more help than me and they always come in the end and it's never urgent.

I have a fantastic room. I was in a smaller one before but this is better and lovely.

I also have a good view from the window. I have several things from my home.

Some of the pictures on the wall I painted and I have bits of furniture from my house, which I like. The food is brilliant and it is getting better.
