We're happy
We're happy with the surgery, we can get appointments. It would be five stars if we could get quicker appointments but we know it's better than lots of other surgeries.

They've been there for me
They've always been very supportive and accommodating. I've had my flu and Covid jabs there and they monitor my blood pressure. They've provided me with a blood pressure machine and advise me what I should and shouldn't eat, and about exercise. They've been there for me.

Prompt response time, very kind staff receptionist
Iv always has a good experience with Lionwood, any concerns I had were looked into, tests were carried out, I always felt so safe in the hands of the nurse and doctors here.

Caring and supportive
I've got high blood pressure and heart disease and they're very supportive. I've also recently had my over-55 MOT where they checked everything. They're very caring, I've been there several years and always had a good experience.

Not very well organised
You can't ever get through on the phone, it just says your call can't be taken and cuts you off. Some of the doctors are OK but the management isn't good.

It's not very well organised, there's often confusion. I help my mum with things and she had a blood test which we were told would be back in two days.

After a week I called but couldn't get through so I went in as nobody had been in touch and was told the test had failed so she'd have to do it again.

What would have happened if I hadn't
... gone in?

GP blocking private medical treatment
I need my GP to confirm that I have not been treated for a lump in my back so that I can be referred for treatment by Bupa. The practice is delaying filling in the form saying normally “non-nhs” forms can take up to 30 days, but is currently taking up to 2 months.

I believe this is incorrectly being classed as “non-nhs” work as it’s for potential serious medical treatment. I only went to a private doctor with the issue to take the load of my GP but I now seem to be penalised for doin
... g that and potentially urgent treatement is being blocked.

Useless
Surgery is useless and very unhelpful. Can never get an appointment and they always palm you off to the walk in centre. Reception staff are also very rude.

Awful
I requested a clinician at 8am to call me due to a medical issue - I was called at 3pm and told there was no appointments available for 7 days and a telephone appointment would be even longer! So I was told to go to the walk-in centre- I do not want to go to the walk-in centre I want my own surgery to deal with me!

An extremely well-organised operation.

Goes the extra mile
I have had the need to contact my GP practice on more than one occasion recently. I have found them to be caring of my needs, they have listened to my health problems and engaged me in ongoing my care with them. Excellent experience
