Excellent healthcare
I get excellent healthcare from the surgery, I have a long-term condition that they monitor really well. I'm called in quickly for appointments. I'm happy to see an ANP or any clinician. It's much better than what our family members are dealing with who live outside Norfolk.
You have to book online which isn't quite as good as calling. Last time the information I'd put in the 'tell us anything else that is relevant' wasn't passed to the person I saw so they weren't aware of the problems I was h
... aving.
I'm also concerned about all the new houses being built and how the surgery will cope with the extra patients.

Told to go to the walk in for my 2 year old
Called at 8:15 on the dot for my 2 year old who has a high temp and has been unwell for a week (have been to walk ins during week due to New Year’s Eve/day) and things aren’t improving. Was told ‘medical emergencies only’ and to take him to the walk in. Ridiculous that a GP will not see a child.

Treatment of patients
I'm absolutely appalled that the service here is deemed acceptable? I have never had any trouble getting appointments in Suffolk, Wales, Cornwall, Devon, Yorkshire, but here is a joke! They bombard you with texts to get jabs, which I have told them numerous times, I dont want, but can't get an appointment.
Their treatment of people battling weight issues is appalling. I have lipoedema it's a medical condition that's not my fault. I get text for obesity appointments! Let's make someone who
... hates how they look, feel even more worthless! This is disgusting!"

Tried to book on line a blood test as it’s over due
awful. Only available place is Newton Flotman. Put long Stratton surgery search for phone contact number and get on live booking again. So if I don’t find a number I won’t get my blood test as I’m not going to Newton for a 5 min appointment

New system is better
I think they've done brilliantly with all their trials and tribulations. The new system for prescriptions was very frustrating to start with but I think it's ironed out. Now it's up and running I think it's going to be better.

Why can’t you book appointments on line?
I can’t believe they still make you call at 8.15. Waited ages for an answer, then no appointments left and told to call another day. And no way to just ask for a routine appointment in a couple of weeks. Such a shame as when I’ve seen them (a nurse and GP) previously they’ve been great.

No problem at all with the doctors and curses
A lot of the time, making appointments is a bit of a nightmare. You call in the morning and you're about 30 in line! You have to wait (for an appointment) about six or seven weeks. Emergencies aren't too bad. The care is fine, there's no problem at all with the doctors and nurses, it's just the initial trying to get in...

Personally I think it's okay
Personally I think it's okay. I'm a little unsure with appointments as they send me to A&E rather than see me, sometimes. The care in the appointments is good. It's managing around the appointments; they're so busy.

It's gotten more and more busy
It's gotten more and more busy. This has always been my doctors. I've been trying to get an appointment with my doctor for three weeks now. I've been trying to phone up but all the appointments are gone by the time I get through. That side of it has gone downhill. But when we're in, it's fantastic. And they do ring you back when you need. The pharmacy is fantastic. But it would be good if we could get some more doctors.

We couldn't ask for anything more
It's normally good. We've moved into the area and they've been great. Very helpful. The professionals always have time. We saw a nurse and they did everything we asked for and more. We couldn't ask for anything more. One thing that could be improved is that there should be a phone option for cancelling appointments. You have to go through all the options and then speak to someone.
