Main Swichboard N&N HOSPITAL.Very rude and not interested telephone operator, I'm not now going to attend my clinic, if this is how this hospital responds to my request to be put in touch with eye clinic department.
some respect should be shown to patients in this case none were forthcoming No wonder why we in Britain who pay all our working lives for an NHS that's failing think is it worth it
My husband contacted Pals earlier this year regarding cancellation of his renal out patient appointment at short notice when his consultant left and no alternative appointment was offered. PALS did not respond in a timely manner and when they eventually did (weeks later) made the excuse of staff sickness. If they are so under resourced it is worrying where patients can go for advocacy when things go wrong if Healthwatch is abolished.
I have had reason to complain about my Oncology follow up appointment, and did so by email to PALS, they ignored it. I complained again 1. About their lack of response and 2. With my original Oncology follow up complaint. Still no response.. disgusting for the department who are meant to put a big arm round the patients
