35 minutes late for my appointment and then refused to see me
My appointment was at 9:20am for a smear test. I have two young children but managed to arrive a few minutes before my appointment.

The person before me was a diabetic patient which takes a lot longer than an average appointment. I was not made aware of this when signing in, the system said that the nurse was running on time.

I was then seen after 35 minutes and told I wouldn’t be able to have my smear test because I am 10 weeks postpartum. I was not made aware of this when I booked my app
... ointment.

My midwife only said I couldn’t have a smear when I was pregnant as this could cause complications. I then said as I was there I have another issue in that area, could the nurse have a look and she refused saying I would have to make another appointment.

I advised her this was my appointment that she was late for but she said I would have to make another appointment. I feel really frustrated that my time was wasted, I was refused to be seen and I was on time with two young children.

If I was 35 minutes late, I would be refused to be seen my the nurse or doctor as I had disrespected their time.

Husband (33M) phoned after experiencing numbness in his leg for 5 days, extreme back pain and a headstoma on his calf. Sat in queue of 30+ people and was told by reception there were no appointments, no call backs and to go to the walk in centre.
For a man who works full time and for the public sector, who doesn’t ask for much, pays his taxes. To be told there were no appointments just makes him feel like no one cares and like he is a bother for calling.

How does this help male mental health? A non medical professional diagnosing that he is not deemed a priority. No wonder men are struggling and do not talk.

Now I will spend more time begging him to call the doctor as now he feels he is being silly. Not happy, really disappointed.

Oedema Clinic Experience
The nurses are very good. My neighbour brings me in for a regular appointment and I am always treated with dignity and respect. I cannot think of a single way of improving the service, it's already good

Ulcer Clinic - Great Experience
I receive thorough treatment from all the staff when I visit the Ulcer Clinic. The Health Centre is easy to get to and the staff are excellent. I received an appointment letter that included everything I needed to know about my appointment.

It's always a good experience here.
The centre is close to where I live and convenient. The staff here are excellent and the appointment letter I received was clear and informative. There's always someone on the end of a phone in between appointments and if I leave a message, someone always gets back to me.

Friendly staff and a good experience
I have had no issues visiting the maternity clinic here. The staff are very friendly.

I don't receive appointment letters, but get regular phone calls with all the information I need. It would be nice if the reception was open more often, but the centre itself is easy to access.

Occasionally I cannot park outside and have to park a little further away.

Visiting ADHD clinic
The staff here see you quickly and send out text and email appointment reminders. This includes all the information we need for the appointment. The reception isn't usually open when we come and I think the check-in screen isn't working today. It's easy to park outside when there's a space.
