I have been coming to this dentist for around 20 years now and I have always found them to be very professional, caring and extremely helpful. I cannot recommend Marta enough.

They have now had become a private practice but I think I am lucky to have had the NHS service from them for all those years. Colin is an excellent dentist and runs a first class practice.

Extremely upset and angry to get 4 letters to my address this morning telling us all that we will no longer be able to have NHS checkups at Orford Hill practice, and that all appointments from September are cancelled. It was a lovely letter explaining the reasoning and chronic underfunding from successive Tory governments, but so disappointing.

I feel that if I join their plan and we pay £10-£20 per month each, then I am by default accepting that this is they way it should be. I then, as adv ... ised by my MP, checked out Find My Dentist and started calling on the phone.

After 5 phone calls I was told that it is the same across Norfolk, and that the nearest I would get an NHS dentist was... Cambridge! I am writing on behalf, not only of myself and my family, but the few hundred families that I reach through my community work in North Norwich who cannot afford NHS checkup fees, let alone a private plan or a round trip to Cambridge! Hence, according to Community dental Training, hundreds of extractions are carried out in Norfolk in under 5s each year, due to complete lack of availability and prevention work.

A shocking and very sad situation, that surely must be rectified as soon as possible.

I always have a really good experience, and since the newest dentist joined a year or two ago, she always makes me feel really comfortable. I have had repeated issues with impacted wisdom teeth and they are really attentive, taking my pain seriously and trying their best to get my extraction referrals chased up.

They are really an excellent dentist, very efficient, and friendly

I have had raging toothache all weekend which turned out to an abscess. I phoned the practice on Monday morning and Roxanne gave me an appointment for 3.55pm today. Colin did such a great job with the anaesthesia that I didn’t even know the tooth had been removed! Brilliant as always.
