had an appointment booked for a friday to check a skin condition. On the tuesday before realized might affect travel insurance so needed to sort it out as we were getting very stressed.
went to hopton at 8 that morning and the reception team managed to get me an appointment at 10 that morning which allowed us to resolve a very stessful situation for us

They're really good here. They're so friendly and caring. I've not had to wait long for appointments either.

I rang up the Sussex road practice and got through really quickly. I was seen the same day and then sent here for a blood test the next day. I didn't wait long and the staff were really pleasant.

Polite, clean, on time, it's excellent.

They were nice and kind. I find coming to medical settings difficult but they made me very comfortable. The receptionist was lovely.

It's a nice surgery, they're very friendly. My usual surgery is Magdalen way but this one is actually easier to get to.

It is now Friday and the prescription has not arrived due to Royal Mail being unable to get the package into my postbox. The next delivery day will now be Monday 10th and seeing as I will be at work, it is unlikely that the delivery will be made then either.
At that point I will be 1 week off my medication purely because of Hopton Surgery’s ‘new pod system’. It is not convenient for the medication to be delivered, it is not convenient for the pharmacy used to be Lloyds as Hopton pharmacy is not part of the Lloyds group.
I need to be able to pick up my medication from Hopton pharmacy, I need Hopton surgery to be able to arrange this for me and seeing as they would have to O.K a request from Lloyds anyway, I fail to see how any of this is more convenient for anyone other than Lloyds pharmacy.
Quite frankly the situation is unacceptable and as a member of the Ambulance Service, I find it a bit of an embarrassment to boot. Surely the patients needs come first? Surely, what is convenient to the patient trumps what is convenient for Hopton Surgery and Lloyds Pharmacy? I need this sorted out, from what I have witnessed so far this new pod system seems to regard the patients needs as secondary.

Came to desk very helpful an Happy lady.. Vicki. Got me booked in later that day and the doctor Dr May, was amazing Happy to listen to what I needed.

Just moved to hopton so was handing my form in to the surgery, the lady on the reception was really rude, then ignored me to talk and swear to here colleague, while I was waiting to hand my forms in, it felt like I incovienced her by handing my forms in, even another lady in line commented on how rude she was
