Unacceptable
You just can't see a GP. I became ill and had to wait 5 weeks to see the GP so I went and saw an out of hours GP who told me I needed an emergency blood test. I called the practice and explained this but they said I had to wait another 3 weeks for my appointment, and then I had to wait another week for the blood test. It is totally outrageous. I was referred to the hospital and afterwards I had an appointment at the practice, I told the GP what the consultant had told me and his response was "I ... have treated this before, it's not rocket science".
They have since messed up my medications.
You speak to the receptionists and that's it you cannot speak to anyone else. The receptionists are making clinical decisions and triaging, it's unacceptable.

They're very good
They're very good at phoning back and getting appointments. The online system works really well so we don't have to wait on the phone. I think it's really improved over the last 2 years.

Frustrating to make appointments
I saw the nurse to get a dressing changed which was all fine. Its frustrating to make an appointment. I have no luck online and have to ring up on the morning, there's a long queue and then you cant always get one.

Improved
Better than it was. I can ring up now and get an appointment which you couldn't before. It would be good to have it open on a Saturday as well.

Professional
Professional, the staff are helpful. The appointment times need to be improved.

If you don't require an emergency you have to wait about 3 weeks and if you do have an emergency you have to go to the Paget anyway. If it wasn't for the longer waits I'd give 5 stars.

The doctors are nice and professional.

I needed an appointment
I don't think it's very good. I wasn't able to make an appointment, I was told to ring up again the next day. I was struggling to urinate and it felt like it should have been treated as a more urgent matter. I wasn't given any advice about what to do, just to call again the next day.

Kind and caring
We're blessed to have the NHS. They're so kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble.
