Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I understand how frustrating it can feel when you are trying to arrange a routine appointment and the demand is high. The move to an on the day appointment system was made after listening to a large amount of patient feedback. Many people told us that they wanted quicker access to care and found long waits for pre booked appointments difficult. Since making this change, most patients have been able to reach the team more easily and receive the support they need in a timely way. Although no system works perfectly for everyone, this approach benefits the vast majority of those who use our service. I am sorry that it has made things harder for you on this occasion.
