Everyone is looked after
On the whole we're happy. Because it's small it's a bit more of a family.

The residents are looked after. The staff are good and the owner always talks to the residents.

There are activities but she prefers not to take part. We've made friends with some of the staff, they ring us up if there's any problems.

The food always smells nice, you can tell its fresh. Our sister likes the mash and gravy.

There's always a choice. The home supported her to cut down on her smoking which has improved ... her health a lot.

They still go out of their way to take her out for her one cigarette a day, which she'd agreed with the doctor, it's important to her.

I get on well with the staff
I moved here a few weeks ago. We get on very well, me and the staff, they're friendly.

I like my room. The food is alright, you get some choice.

My son pops in to see me, moving here means he's much closer. I feel like I'm able to ask if I need something.

I like the curtains in my room, where I was before they were dreary but they're nice here. The staff are up for a chat and I enjoy that.

I'm happy mum is here
Mum came in just before covid and the staff were wonderful, I've got nothing bad to say about any of them. We wanted somewhere small, not too big or impersonal, it was definitely the right choice.

They really listen and they're very caring. There's a devotion to the people, the carers and with them always.

They're brilliant with mum. I feel safe knowing she's in good hands.

She's got a lovely little room. The care is the main thing.

Mum seems to enjoy the food here. they keep me updated ... on everything.
