Nurses are good
Have to wait a long time for an appointment, Dr said I needed a blood test and it was over a 3 week wait.
The nurse practitioners are good though.

Very quick response
I went in at 8am to get an appointment for my husband and he was given one for that morning. The doctor spotted that he looked anaemic so gave him a blood test. When the results came in the next day the doctor sent my husband straight to the hospital for a transfusion.

Getting an appointment is what bugs me
The surgery in Dereham got shut so everyone was shunted to the other side. Don't get appointments to see the doctor, usually speak on the telephone or get sent to the pharmacy. When I do get to see them they're quite helpful. Getting appointments is what bugs me , you call at 8 and you're like 15 in the queue and then there are no appointments left.

waste of time
I was expecting a phone call back which i never got.I contacted them regarding the call, they told they never got a reply to call.Second attempt also a failure.I went in and explained the problem,i was told it was my phone or wifi and i should check with my provider!!.I was then advised to ring at 8.30.am for an appointment the next day.At 8.30. i called and was already 18th in line! {HOW!!}.I asked for a call back which i got,i explained i had a chest problem and would be happy to see a doctor ... or a nurse, they had no appointments for the day,and its not even 9 oclock yet.Can i come the next day?iwas asked, yes i can in the afternoon, sorry was the reply we have nobody available due to sickness...
I said well thanks for all the help and put the phone down..
Complete waste of time. This is the first appointment i have tried to make since toftwood surgery closed.
And like i and hundreds of other people said ITS NOT GOING TO WORK.AND IT HAS'NT.
I shall not waste any more of their time, and rely upon the pharmacists in the chemists,at least they are generally available when you need help.
whats the point of additional buildings for the surgery?without extra gp's and nurses,it just spreads the
patients out. Appalling situation...

They've supported me
I can't complain about the surgery, they've supported my health. The Social Prescribers have helped me find a group for support. It's even better now they run the pharmacy themselves.

They're thorough
I'm happy with the surgery. I don't come much but when I do they're thorough. It's not been too bad recently to get an appointment. You can either book online or ring up. There can be a wait but there's lots of people trying.

Always brilliant
They're always brilliant - the care they give; they listen. I don't think anything can be improved. I've got cancer and they're always on the end of the phone and the online service is brilliant, they get back to me in a short amount of time. I can't fault them.

Really hard to get appointments
Trying to book appointments is terrible. You either have to come here at 8am as the phone lines open at 8.

30, but very often there's none left. If it's not an emergency it's really hard to get appointments.

Sometimes I've had to phone 111 because they can't help me and you shouldn't have to do that. The last time I tried to book was a couple of weeks ago for my daughter and it was no different.

We did get her in in the end but it was hard.

They've got it under control
I had a routine appointment which was fine, no complaints. I'm a new patient and the pharmacist referred me for a check-up because of the medication I'm on.

So this blood test was booked after seeing a GP last week. They also picked up that I was due a colonoscopy and that's all been done.

It's much better than it was at my old place! I feel like they know what they're doing here, they've got it all under control. It seems efficient.
