Over a month wait to get my ears looked at
Sometimes they don't ring when they say they will so you have to ring back and then there is a long wait on the phone for them to answer. I can struggle to understand things so I wish I had more time in my appointments and the doctor would speak more clearly in a way that I could understand them.

I would prefer a face to face appointment rather than over the phone but I just don't seem to get them. You can never get an appointment within 3 weeks and I have had to wait over a month for an appoi

They ask me what I want
A while back I had a complaint about not being able to see a doctor but it was sorted. Since then the practice has been absolutely brilliant. They even ask me what I want them to do for me!

Shocking! They're never available
My partner is still waiting on his prescriptions over 4 months now, we never heard back from them. As for me, I never seem to be able to catch them on the phone or walkin to book an appointment, they're never there! We miss our previous practice!

Dr Turnham have explained the subject well
it was a good experience talking to the doctor answering your questions and has lent an hear about your previous experience

Overall, I am very happy here
I am very happy here. You can get an appointment, but they can put you off. My repeat prescription form said I needed to come but the receptionist said " I don't think you need to come". The staff are very nice. There are just a few details that are not as good. I am very happy here.

Excellent, I've never had a problem.
Obviously more doctor’s appointments would make it better although my personal experience has been good. I have just seen the nurse and I have also had telephone and video calls and they have all been fine.

Booking process is too complicated.
The booking process is too complicated. There are different messages for different things.

If I could just speak to them it would be sorted in one go. It would be more efficient for them too.

For a flu jab appointment there were 4 exchanges of messages! For general appointments It feels like you must over exaggerate to get an appointment, which drives wrong behaviour. In the main they are generally okay it is the processes that are an issue.

I don't feel supported
There are long queues on the phone and I think they need more staff. I think a lot of people get put off and fed up with surgeries not upping their game.

I don't feel supported and there is no opportunity to speak to them. They can't keep blaming COVID.

I feel vulnerable and luckily I know how to look after myself.

We have been very impressed.
They are very good. At times when my wife was ill, they would call to see how she was. We have been very impressed. They could not have done more.

Nursing staff amazing, doctors wonderful
There are some good points, the nursing staff are amazing and the doctors are wonderful. Getting through on the phone though is not good.

It goes to triage and then they say no! I had a bad chest and tried to make an appointment. I was told I didn't need one.

When it didn't get better I tried again and eventually saw a doctor who said it was double pneumonia, I was admitted to hospital. Today I was 5th in the phone queue and when it got to me I was cut off.

So I have driven here to ask for
... an appointment.
