Just don’t see the point …:
The receptionists and nursing team are professional, hard working, friendly and approachable. The booking system is just so frustrating, no continuity of care, luck of the draw if you get the same doctor twice, can’t book an appointment in advance for continuity of care, long queues to get through to the appointments line and if not in the first half dozen in line then it’s unlikely an appointment will be offered for that morning if calling at 8 am or that afternoon if calling at 1 pm, neith ... er a call back telephone nor face to face. One GP refuses to look at the whole picture and sends patients away because she’ll only accept one medical complaint per 10 minutes appointment. I have been sent away even though my two things are related to the same thing. I know of two others who have been sent away this week too, one in tears. It’s really only a matter of time before a huge mistake is made by this newly qualified GP sending her patients away, back to the call in at 8 am and 1 pm system daily to try get another appointment to see her about the second thing that she refused to examine even though it is related to the first. I’m afraid I don’t feel comfortable now about going back, when a GP turns you away, it’s not only rude but gives the impression that they don’t really care, they’re working to the clock and not with the patient. There are two very good regular stand in doctors from other practices who are very attentive and have excellent listening skills. Now, we are left with a regular GP who only works three days a week, another regular who doesn’t seem to be full time either and a newly qualified who can only manage one thing at a time and sends patients who may have spent over a week or more, calling at 8 am and 1 pm to get an appointment, take time off work to attend only to be sent away to make another appointment for the second thing that’s related to the first, potentially another couple of weeks joining the appointment line queue at 8 am and 1 pm.

The doctors are very good when you get to see them
Getting a GP appointment is crazy difficult. The doctors are very good when you get to see them. Apart from getting an appointment they otherwise seem a very good surgery.

Exemplary service
I have had exemplary service here. They have done everything they could possibly do.

They have followed up from the hospital. Initially getting an appointment with the doctor can be difficult; you have to call at 08:00 or 13:00 on the dot.

The amount of emergency appointments to general appointments seems disproportionate.

What they say they'll do, they do
It's been great. Whenever I have issues, what they say they'll do, they do. The doctors are perfect, the nurses are great.

It's better now than it was
It's better now than it was. They need more doctors. The care is good. It used to be impossible to get an appointment but that is improving. They could offer more services.

The care is excellent
Everything is brilliant! The care is excellent. The communication is fine. I wish the surgery was more in the middle of the village but you can't have everything!

Everything has been fine
Excellent. Everything has been fine. The staff are nice, friendly and pleasant. The care is fine. More doctors would be good but if I need a doctor they'll refer me to one. I usually see a nurse and that's fine.

It's nice and clean
It's alright, no major problems. It's nice and clean. The staff are okay. The opening hours are better than some. The only thing is, they could have more doctors so you don't have to wait so long.

Brilliant
Brilliant. They're absolutely amazing when I come here. They are helpful on the phone; I always get through and get sorted. You usually wait two or three weeks but that's the same everywhere, isn't it?
