I don’t regularly need to see a doctor, but when I do, I expect basic access to care. Instead, I’ve been met with a lack of empathy, poor communication, and an overall absence of support.
The service here is clearly declining. Experiences like this are exactly why A&E and out-of-hours services are under so much pressure—patients are left with no alternative when they can’t even get through the front door of their GP.
This needs urgent attention and improvement.
I have never had a problem, they look after my condition well. I have never had a problem. They do look after me.
There is one thing, last week I had a blood test appointment and on the day I was unable to attend so I tried to call and cancel but couldn't get through. It made me feel bad as by the time I did get through it was a long time after my appointment. The staff were fine when they answered and made me another appointment but it seems like there should be an easier way to cancel.
An efficient, caring practice.
They have always been good up until they changed the booking system. It took me ages to find the form but now I have it it's fine. The staff helped me find it.
It is all good when you get in and the staff are really friendly.
They are overall quite good. They are kind and helpful and they are working with such restrictions, when things go wrong it's not their fault. I have come from London and it's a different experience. It seems better here.
When you can get in they are pretty on the mark. The staff are fine and if you treat them well they treat you well too. It can be difficult to get an appointment though.
I have had a bad experiences here before but today was okay. When I got here I realised I was seeing a doctor I would prefer not to see but they were actually okay today.
We have only recently registered and so far it has been excellent. They have given us the information we need and details about the online system to make appointments. I have also been told they will contact me with some more information about my condition.
I arrived early so I did have to wait a bit but my actual appointment was only a few minutes late. The doctor I saw was very nice and helped me quite a lot. I was also offered the appointment quite quickly . I liked the doctor they were good.
The staff are friendly but there can be some frustrations. I came in for a blood test and also needed to have my blood pressure checked but the person taking my blood said I would need another appointment to get my blood pressure checked. I work and it means I have to take more time off work and come another day. It does seem a bit off for something that only takes a little bit of time.
