Good surgery
Good surgery - getting an appointment is the problem but I can go to West Earlham. Once in I can't complain and they do the best under the circumstances. I'm quite happy, they annoy me sometimes but you have to persevere and be patient.

The doctor wasn't interested
I usually use the Walk-In Centre as I can't ever get in there but I was in for a blood test the other day and told the doctor about a problem I was having with my hand. They didn't listen, I could see they weren't interested.

They suggested I have a blood test which I'd obviously already done. I sorted the problem out myself in the end.

Another time I went in with knee problems and the doctor was rude and dismissive. I went back and saw a locum who actually helped.

They're not very good bu
... t it is what it is.

In agony and no-one helps
I first contacted the practice in July. They told me they had referred me to the hospital.

Then I was told that this had been returned to them and they had to go a different route. They advised that they would refer me for a scan.

I contacted the practice on two separate occasions, given the wait, asking if they could confirm if a routine or urgent referral had been made. They could not tell from their records.

Then I was told that I cannot have an investigative scan and that they were loo
... king at options and would phone me Friday 7 Oct. They did not.

I telephoned today 11 Oct and now have to wait until 18 Oct for a GP to call me back. I am not even on a waiting list for hospital yet, despite attending GP in July.

I am in so much pain!!!

Been having problems for 2 years
It is 2 years and 6 months since I first called about my leg problem. I have just seen different nurses who have given me different creams, had over 10 different ones .

Eventually had an appointment to see a doctor and they said that they were going to take a photo of it but when I got here they couldn't as the camera was at West Earlham, so I needed to make another appointment and come back. One of the doctors is very dismissive and rude.

I do have to say the nurses are brilliant, I can't fa
... ult them and the receptionists are good.

Warm environment
It was a warm environment. Everyone was very polite and nice. The new online messaging system started during COVID is really good. It works well for us. I can type a message and know that it is seen by a doctor or nurse and we get an answer quite quick. The doctor sees it and makes a decision.

Too much waiting
The appointment system would only get 2 stars. It sometimes takes half an hour in a queue on the phone and then you have to wait 4 weeks to see the doctor. There is too much delay. Otherwise it's okay.

Super people but you can't get in
It's not good. You keep trying to get in and you can't see a doctor.

You might get a phone call but I want to see the doctor. They say they will call back and then they don't.

There's lots of waiting. It's not accessible.

The door is down and you go away feeling down.

They are super people but you can't access the doctor

Gone down hill over recent years
On the phone they are not very helpful, you can be put off. Communication between surgery and other services is very poor.

As the patient I didn't know what was going on and was given a poor explanation. When you get to see people the care is good but the service has gone down hill over recent years.
