Ambulance?

I had a benign cyst on my kidney and my stomach swelled up like a balloon. I was passing blood at the time and was told to make my own way straight to the Healthy Living Centre. I threw up in the taxi much to the drivers dissatisfaction and when I got there they immediately called for an ambulance. I do question if I should have been sent an ambulance in the first place?
