Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

Keep the language and tone civil
Don’t mention personal details
Make it relevant to the review

As a service provider, you can leave your response to the original review and the reviewer will be notified of this. However, they will not be able to reply to your response, but can get in contact with Healthwatch Norfolk if they wish to pass any comments along. Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who visits your service page on our website, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Medication not available and staff don't care

GP sent px electronically and said could pick up same day. Went following day, told px not filled as pharmacist busy and to come back later. Went back at time suggested only to be told that they didn't have that medication in stock and it would have to be ordered in. Not an unusual medication so very surprised at this. Medication needed that day so I was told to try another pharmacy but they could not tell me how to get to it and made no effort to find out or confirm that they would definitely have some. Had to Google directions to other pharmacy who filled the prescription immediately with no fuss. This was not the 1st time that Boots could not dispense my px and staff always unhelpful and quite unfriendly. I asked for a means to provide feedback, told there was nothing. Will not be using again for prescriptions.
