Waste of time

Unfortunately, the service provided doesn't make us feel welcome and valued as patients. The Receptionist I spoke to yesterday treated me in a patronising way, not feeling compassionate towards my case. As usual not able to see anyone in person for my teenage son so only a phone call available throughout all day . When you are expecting a phone call you are not given any specific time so even going to the toilet can become a problem as you might miss the call ( it happened to us!). As a result you end up ringing the surgery again, being put on hold for up to 40 min, eventually, to be told they should ring you back. But that never happened so I rang them again an hour before closing. Again put on hold for 30 min to be told that they will ring you next day (something I was supposed to know somehow deducted from the receptionist's tone of voice ). When asked if they could do anything now you are given a dry reply they are about to shut so no one can help you. By the way the phone call was supposed to happen in the morning ( not a precise time given) but was received lunchtime. Total lack of respect towards people who have to work (either from home or go to work) but are obliged to put their daily lives on hold and wait for the call from GP.
