Mixed feelings about the surgery

Since the merger of the surgeries the service is not as good as it used to be. The continuity of care between the GP's isn't as good and there long waits for appointments. Trying to get through to the surgery on the telephone is getting more and more difficult and I've found that you can be on hold for a good 45 minutes waiting to speak to somebody. Once you are actually at the surgery and being seen the care is good, the doctors give me the time I need at each appointment and the nursing team are wonderful. The nurses appointments run on time but I find the GP appointments tend to run late. I order all my medication online and collect this from the pharmacy. I have a car so drive to my appointments, however parking at the surgery is impossible at times.
