Original Feedback for The Beaches Medical Centre:

Totally disorganised

I came out of hospital after an emergency admission during which I was very unwell. Hospital was excellent. However came home physically and mentally fragile, Once home, I had some queries regarding changes to medications. Doctor never asked how I was. Was abrupt and made me feel a nuisance. After the phone call, I sat and wept. Emailed practice to express my upset but just got a standard apology. Few days later, I attempt to reorder the new and old medications to find: some medications appear to have been stopped without discussion or explanation (one of which, I understood, I was to remain on permanently); new medications were not available to reorder until 29th December although I will run out on 3rd December. Given how I was treated last time I rang, really can’t face ringing again. This GP practice contributes to my fragile mental health rather than assists.
