An Update On My Last Review

I previously wrote an earlier review of this practice based on visits this year giving it a very poor rating stating in my opinion that their dentists tended to cherry pick patients who they wished to provide NHS treatment for, and very much believing that they were reluctant to complete band 3 treatment for patients who required it. My conclusions were based on the fact that in my opinion I received very poor treatment from one of their dentists who left my mouth in a very poor state with lots of broken and semi buried teeth and roots, I felt so strongly about this that I felt the need to make clear, all my concerns to the practice. However, I do wish to give an update on my review in connection with some new experiences based on communications with them recently. Although unfortunatly I cannot change my low rating as the fact remains that in my opinion they have an absymal dentist who was very negligent and I feel strongly failed in their duty of care towards me.I do now concede and can confirm that I have now received reassurance that their other NHS dentists are willing to provide band 3 dental treatment for patients if required and I was informed that it had been a misunderstanding that I had been given the impression that they preferred to wash their hands of me and no longer have me on their books as a patient. They have even recommended another dentist at their practice who will be happy to see me! So I will be making an appointment in near future for a check up and second opinion,.unfortunatly this site forces me to give a star rating so will have to leave a negative rating based on first dentist but will review star rating once i seen other dentist But have added one extra star for them trying to resolve my dispute with them in a satisfactory way! I also wish to put in a good word for the receptionist as I was surprised they have got negative reviews.I always found the receptionists extremely efficient polite and helpful and they always tried hard to arrange convenient appointments for me . I also love their e mail system of reminding patients when their dental appointment are due and is a very good helpful idea,The surgery is very much in the 21st century!
