• Parking at Priscilla Bacon Lodge

  There is no parking at the Priscilla Bacon lodge - only around 8 spaces which get filled up quickly. It can add to the stress of visiting a loved one. I know they can't expand the car park, but information on where to park if all the spaces are gone would be useful.

• Came out walking

  I went in to Colman Hospital in a wheelchair, and came out walking. They make you feel human, and really empathise with you after such a traumatic event. There's nothing worse than someone telling you they know how you feel.

• Best thing I ever did

  Going to Colman Hospital after my brain injury was the best thing I ever did. I could hardly move before I went there, but after just a couple of weeks they had me walking through parallel bars. Made so much progress with them, just wish I could have stayed on a bit longer.
