Original Feedback for Cringleford Surgery:

A surgery under huge pressure!

I've been a patient of Cringleford Surgery for about 19 years and my experience, until recently, has always been positive. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. The prolific house building in the area has created a huge problem for the Surgery and as one doctor recently told me 'we're near collapsing under the pressure' and an open letter on their website explains the difficulties and stress the Surgery is under trying to manage the influx of patients. It's virtually impossible to get an appointment to see a doctor and phoning is about a 30 minute or more wait just to speak to reception. Emailing the surgery is unlikely to get you an appointment either. I have great sympathy for the Surgery but until the government/council planning departments realise large scale house building without the correct infrastructure/services should never be contemplated, nothing will change. How will Cringleford Surgery continue to cope as more houses are built in the area? After reading the open letter and speaking to two of the doctors my guess would be the surgery will collapse.
