Website not fit for purpose

This website is not good. It deters people from making appointments. It is closed much of the time. Even when open it is inaccessible. Today I went on line hoping to ask for a phone consultation in the future at their convenience. I understand they are stretched and I will have t o wait for this phone call, possibly for several weeks. The web site states we are short staffed due to sickness and only gave me the option of asking for an urgent appointment. I can not log my request for a routine phone call at a later date. I am back to square one. Logging a request for a routine phone call appointment should be easy. it is not, Now I will have to make a further attempt to do this simple task. However as I work this is not easy, the times when I am at home and would like to go on line such as in the evening when I am at home the website is closed. I don't see why the website is often not available to log routine appointment requests. This website is useless, clunky and an obstacle to accessing NHS health care. How much did you pay the website designers? also why do accept this set up which deters access? When you do have contact with the staff they are great, very helpful and professional. I am sympathetic to how hard they work in these difficult times. The website lets this practice down.
