Absolutely FANTASTIC!!
12th December 2022I cannot say how incredible the staff at Together really truly are! To say that they go above and beyond is an understatement really. I moved back to King’s Lynn late 2015/ early 2016. Unable to secure an NHS dentist back then I bit the bullet and paid to go private. Unfortunately, as a result of not having attended to my oral care for a couple of years, the costs soon mounted up. Due to a recent diagnosis of a serious chronic health condition, HIV. I personally wanted to try and keep on top of as many aspects of my health as possible. My health care team stressed how vitally important it was that I see a dentist regularly. When examining the mouth and teeth of someone with HIV a dentist is able to pickup and flag early signs that may suggest dip in medication effectiveness or other health complications caused by the virus or that could be a risk to that person. Every piece of literature you read about HIV, any information you see about the virus stresses how fundamentally crucial having regular dental checks are. Around late 2018 I started having problems with work and by 2019 found myself unemployed, swamped by mountains of debt and unable to continue to pay for private dental care. Again I began searching for NHS care. I was passed from person to person with no individual person or organisation able to take charge or overrule the decision of another. When I developed tooth pain for a week I was unable to find anyone willing to do me an emergency nhs dental appointment. That was until Together rang me back having left them a message. Even though I wasn’t a registered patient of there’s they were able to see me on a weekend and sort my tooth pain out. Fast forward through the pandemic and a similar issue presented itself for me. Extreme tooth pain and no kings lynn dentist able to see me - despite letting them know of health conditon. Once again Together dental came to the rescue!! What’s more, Isabella, who saw to my tooth pain understood how vital it was for me to have regular dental care. She listened to my problems and actually cared about me as a patient. As with all practices locally together had a waiting list for new nhs patient registrations. Isabella insisted I be taken on to her books. This wasn’t a case of cheekily skipping the queue. This was a medical professional understanding the health of their patient AND understanding the impacts of low income and other problems and how this all comes together. Professional Isabella and Together Dental assessed my need and because of my need took me on as a new NHS patient. This attitude is exactly what the dental industry as a whole should be taking. Assessing the needs of those they see. If someone goes for a checkup once every 2 years and has no issues and is not on a low income do they really need nhs care? Probably not. Maybe how nhs dental care is allocated needs to be changed. Any ways back to the team at Together Dental Downham Market. They are always so lovely, so bubbly and caring and I always feel at ease when I see them. 10/10 guys you are outstanding!!!

Seen promptly
14th February 2022I feel lucky because I am registered with a dentist. I had an emergency during COVID and I was seen very quickly. The treatment and care I received was very good. I am aware that other people are having problems getting a dentist appointment and I feel very lucky.

Emergency OOHs appt
24th August 2019Very caring staff, lovely clean practice, made to feel calm and not worried. Temporary filling and very heavily pregnant, was made to feel comfortable and involved in all my dental choices.

Appointments cancelled by service
31st July 2019I have struggled to get an appointment and then it is cancelled by the practice, sometimes at short notice and I do not always get offered a replacement appointment either. If I have to phone to rebook a cancelled appointment my call is not always returned. I have also received letters requesting payment despite paying the bill when I attended. I don't think the treatment I receive is that good either.

Miscommunication around appointments
13th November 2018I've been getting on alright with the service recently, but the dentists are constantly changing, and last year I turned up for an appointment I had booked for 4 months, and they had no record of it so I had to book again. I'm also not overly happy about paying advance for an appointment that is 3-6 months away.

1st June 2018Appointments kept to time and they treat you well. When you get older you need to go regularly and they are very good.

Dentist is fantastic

Deal with me very well
1st June 2018They are good, I can't have anaesthetic so fillings and treatment can be very painful. They deal with it very well.

Inaccessible for wheelchair
1st June 2018The building is not very accessible for wheelchairs so I had to use elsewhere.

Access on ground floor
23rd May 2018They are very understanding of my children's ages and are very encouraging with stickers. My children actually enjoy showing their teeth to their dentist. Having access to a dentist on a ground floor instead of taking four very small children upstairs would help.
