Appointments

Contacted as per guidelines at 8am for same day appointment, no appointments left when got through, not asked what was wrong with me, had to explain after several times of being told no appointments, not sign posted to other options given potential serious symptoms communicated on several occasions throughout telephone call, even though I wasn't ever asked and had to keep raising. Rushed off phone call by reception no empathy or interest in offering help, told to call back next day same time, kept repeating same thing after every questions to them like robot, no people skills. Main focus of receptionist was to get me off phone and not focus on me as person or user of service Called back next day symptoms explained same thing, no appointments, left with same response and attitude from different receptionist, rushed off phone, no empathy or signposting to alternative options despite communicating my fear regarding symptoms Wouldn't even allow to book appointment ahead told next 4 weeks fully booked, what are you supposed to do, surely there is a duty of care to signpost to alternative services or even offer call back with clinician
