Original Feedback for East Harling Surgery:

Failure

When it’s at its best you must wait 4 weeks but now for 5 weeks I’ve been continually informed by a receptionist (whom May I add are usually rude, which begs the question in their lengthy dialogue when on hold, that verbal abuse must and will not be tolerated)that all doctors are on sick leave and there’s no point phoning 111 as they cannot take anymore! To be informed to attend A&E or a walk in which is 25 miles away, is simply disgusting when a lot of population is elderly and not everyone can afford or have the time to simply pop off and cause undue stress to staff at the already overwhelmed services in hospital. Nurses at the surgery are fabulous but honestly it needs a complete overhaul of the services it provides. Simple things are being overlooked. Management is diabolical so why take more patients from other areas when they simply cannot cope with the residents in their own village?! There is no hope for this surgery at all. They get a good doctor then burn them out and others well they need to be struck off! Patients are rushed if they’re fortunate to gain an appointment, handed a prescription of whatever is available to be frank. 3 years I’ve waited for a hospital referral and I very much doubt I’m the only person. Also shame on them for not advertising that we could all have our say today. That was quite convenient wasn’t it? Disgusting and a complete failure
