A lack of sensitivity

I recently had an appointment which I booked face-to-face. I got a locum but he was quite good and listened. I've previously been told I was pre-diabetic but I wasn't. Reception can be quite blunt with not much empathy, they should be retrained in interpersonal skills. You shouldn't be asked to say out loud what the problem is, you should be able to write it down. There's a lack of sensitivity, if they tidy up the edges they would be more approachable. People often get told to use 111 or got to Kenninghall and they can't get there, or 111 put you back to your GP.
