Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

Keep the language and tone civil
Don’t mention personal details
Make it relevant to the review

As a service provider, you can leave your response to the original review and the reviewer will be notified of this. However, they will not be able to reply to your response, but can get in contact with Healthwatch Norfolk if they wish to pass any comments along. Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who visits your service page on our website, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Inaccessible and discriminatory

I attempted to contact them but they do not have a neurodivergent friendly phone system. So I emailed them and explained that I had tried but could not cope with the phone system due to neurodivergence, and asked them about alternative ways to communicate with them. The reply I got was that I’d have to phone them on the number I’d already tried to! Completely disregarding the fact that I’d explained it wasn’t possible due to a medical condition. I emailed in reply explaining that I can’t do that and asking for an accessible route to communicate with them (one would hope healthcare companies would account for the fact that their clients are quite often going to be disabled!!) but received no reply. This is the same discrimination as telling a paraplegic Person to not be lazy and to get up and pick something up. Disgusts me that companies with this kind of attitude are winning the contracts to pretend to care for the disabled. No wonder we’re all so stuck!
