Original Feedback for Fakenham Medical Practice:

Rude reception staff let down the practice

I went to Fakenham Boots pharmacy to see if they would dispense a repeat prescription as I’m in intense pain and dehydrated with a migraine attack and have no sumatriptan. They wouldn’t help because it wasn’t the right prescription and told me to visit my gp surgery. I called my GP because with Covid it’s not advised to visit the surgery, the member of reception staff treated me as an inconvenience the whole time, had no empathy when I was asking her for help setting up an appointment with my gp and only offered to give me the number for dispensary so I could explain my situation again. All other staff and health professionals have been very helpful at Fakenham surgery so it’s a shame this one person is letting them down and has prevented me from getting the help I need. What’s worse is she did lookup my repeat prescriptions while I was on the line so would have seen I’m on a high dose of antidepressants. I’m in an intense amount of pain both physically and emotionally and she still didn’t want to help. People like her shouldn’t be in the medical profession.
