Original Feedback for Grove Surgery:

What has happened at this surgery?

I asked for an appointment with a nurse but was told by receptionist I needed to tell her what the problem was and then need to first speak to a GP. If I wasn’t happy doing this (I wasn’t) I could go home and ring instead but still needed to tell them my problem over the phone. GP rung me soon afterwards and sent prescription to pharmacy. This was a matter which a nurse could easily have dealt with and I would have been more comfortable seeing her but seems it isn’t possible anymore. Why do we need to tell receptionist what the problem is? Not great if there is a queue behind you and it is a sensitive matter. I have been with this surgery for 46 years and never known it to be so bad.
