Original Feedback for Grove Surgery:

Failing in communication, compassion and care

People aren't listen to anymore or given individualised care. There have been 2 major times I have reached out to this GP for support and both times I have been pushed back without even finding out more details. The first one being on the brink of suicide - and the second having no money to access care. Mental health is largely not tolerated by any NHS organisation and even those with that aim can take a long time to answer you. If a patient is reaching out to you - you don't realise how much it my have taken them to do that. My appointment was cancelled as the doctor assumed she didn't need to see me.. 2 more phones calls via reception which were shut down and no access to care... it took calling 111 to get an appointment - it felt horrible going into the surgery after that - and funnily enough the doctor exclaimed 'oh I really did need to see you today didn't I'. I've never felt listened to here for many years and some things don't change. You may think it's ok to train these receptionists to delve into our lives now - but they aren't medical professionals which decent training on mental health, even when we ourselves are you still don't listen. Most recently requesting something medical for work when I work for Breckland in the NHS, I was turned down when the practice have assisted before. As a student financially it is impossible now for me to complete this health requirement due to finances and yet again the surgery have no interest in assisting.
