Dangerous/shocking

Unable to offer nothing other than medication for people in crisis or with serious mental health problems . Medicare them up to keep them quiet! A nurse calls once a week for hour, and this quickly drops down to an hour a fortnight even when a person is suicidal and unable to care for themselves. They are expected to get to Hellesdon to see psychiatrist even when they know they are too scared to get out of bed and the person has no carer! This has and still is happening to my daughter and I have had to bring her into my county to get her help to save her life! My county immediately recognised she needed to be hospitalised (refused by Hellesdon) and they have and are working tirelessly to help her! She lives in Norfolk alone and will soon want to return, I dread what will happen then as there is nothing for the mentally ill or care in the community! Wake up Norfolk, stop the denial and come clean. It’s not all about money it’s just a completely shambolic mess run by people at the top who are past their sell by date. People are committing suicide while they are being paid by OUR taxes to fail the mentally ill in Norfolk. Also why oh why are they still not coordinating their work with other agencies such as the police, social services, crisis teams, social workers etc. How many more must die while they play at running a health service? If it is out of their comfort zone and ability, step aside and put someone in there place who understands budgets and the needs of the mentally ill! Learn from the likes of Maudsley in London or Kings which show the standard of help you should offer the mentally ill, and not just drugs to shut them down! It’s a total disgrace, the whole thing wants scrapping and starting again with new leaders! We can’t wait any longer while the ill are in desperate need of care and help.
