Cortisone Injection

As a result of a consultation in June, a cortisone joint injection was required. I specifically asked the waiting time and was told 2/3 weeks. I would receive a text notification of the appointment. Fine 5 weeks later no contact. What’s the point of this practice having online or text services which are never used efficiently? Anyway i then enter the abysmal telephone service where you queue for how long your guess is as good as mine. Eventually i find out that there is waiting list of 91 people waiting for such injections. The practise at present seems unable to manage or prioritise this backlog with defined dates. So how long me or other people on this list wait is anyones guess. Why is this information not available on the website. I have been a user of this practice for a long time and in each of the last 5 years services just deteriorate.
