    Ruined my tooth

Whilst having a simple filling replaced that had fallen out the dentist fell right through my tooth which meant I had to have a ground. When the crown was fitted it was too tight so he felt down way too far. In the end it looks like a flat tree stump you could see all of the rings. Just doing the preparation for the crown he cut into my gum. I shouldn’t of felt this because I was numb but it was that invasive that I did there was a lot of blood. There should not be blood when you’re preparing for a crown. That took three years to recover and I would say it still hasn’t fully recovered. To then go back and be told by another dentist it’s not that tooth it’s hurting it’s one on the top is absolutely ridiculous I know my teeth he would not touch the tooth because he didn’t believe it was causing me a problem. The crown fell off and another dentist had to put a metal post into my shell of a tooth through to the route. I now have a metal post which really isn’t necessary if the first Dentist hadn’t filed my tooth and shattered it to pieces. Use that as an excuse saying when you take the Crown off teeth can shatter. This was not mentioned at the appointment and my tooth was structurally sound. I don’t believe for a second this is what happened. I’ve put a complaint in to the head of the business and was just spoken to by the two dentists who denied any wrongdoing. I now suffer so bad with this tooth that my new dentist who is fantastic has said we will have to do very invasive treatment to keep a crown on from now on. I would’ve had the tooth taken out but unfortunately there was a failed root canal after six attempts on the other side of my mouth that after two weeks of pure torture and no dentist wanting to take it out I had to get it out in the end. As a result of the other tooth I now have stomach problems and cannot take ibuprofen because I was left in agony for two full weeks overdosing on it. Really was horrendous care course of a few years at plumbers Great Yarmouth.
