They looked after my husband in A&E

My husband had a stroke and the ambulance said it would take two hours so I drove him there myself. There were 90 people ahead of us and we had to wait an hour but once we were seen everything happen quite quickly. They said it was the busiest day they had had at A&E and there were ambulances queued outside waiting to drop people off. We have been back since for scans and have to go back next week for a heart monitor, every time we go the treatment has been good. The only bad think is the parking, when I arrived with my husband their were no parking spaces and I needed to get him to A&E as quickly as possible so I did park on a verge and got a £80 fine which was very upsetting at such a stressful time.
