Maternity

I was told to come in to the hospital to be induced. When I arrived, there were no beds available. I was waiting for a few hours and they told me I would have to wait until the next evening. I kicked up a fuss and they managed to find me a bed to be induced. I was in the midwife led suite. Ward 11 was terrible. They just don’t listen to you. It was unorganised. They also got my food orders wrong every time. I had no birth plan for this pregnancy. Pre-birth I saw the same one or two midwives which was good, they done run of the mill health checks. I think if you’re a first time mum they could offer more support or be more available. Post-birth I found it frustrating because they don’t give you a time slot. They just tell you the day they are coming, but it could be any time. I have two kids so that isn’t a great help, I have stuff to do.
