More info post op

My sister's chemo and breast cancer treatment was excellent, but her experience of the day surgery unit was not so good. She had surgery and following the op was like you're done now, good bye. Good treatment while she was there but the initial after care was poor. She left the hospital without knowing what had been done to her or what to do. There was a real lack of information which I think needs to be better. The district nurses who subsequently came out to her every day after were brilliant. They explained everything, which is much more than she got from the hospital.
