Understanding of my situation

Just before Christmas I was was taken to hospital by ambulance as I was experiencing chest pains and breathing problems. I was then admitted to hospital for treatment for a chest infection. Staff on the wards looked after me really well. I want to point out how much of an effort that they went to to help support me while I was staying in the hospital. I am a carer for my son, he was very upset that I was going to be away from home. Staff were very understanding of his needs and were flexible in allowing him to visit me when a family friend was available to bring him to the hospital . Their understanding meant a great deal as it stopped me worrying so much about him and allowing him to see me was reassuring for us both.
